Dear Colleagues:
The UConn-Stamford Center for Career Development is excited to
announce our Fall 2018 Career Fair will take place on Wednesday,
October 17th from 4-6pm.
The UConn Stamford 2018 Fall Career Fair brings 80 employers from
multiple sectors offering Full Time, Part Time, and Internship
Opportunities (paid and volunteer). Please see the attached for
registered employers as of today.
We are seeking your assistance to promote the Fall Career Fair as well
as our "Countdown to the Fair" events. Here are some suggestions
· Share the attached overview of prep-events with your
students and/or recent alumni
· Highlight employers you would recommend your students speak
with given their majors
· Incorporate attendance to the Career Fair into your
classroom discussions or assignments
We appreciate your assistance to achieve our goal of establishing
UConn Stamford as the experiential learning and jobs campus. Career
exploration to secure employment is an important skill for all of our
students.
If there are any questions, please feel free to contact us at
tara.malone@uconn.edu(Career Services) and chrys.tsilibes@uconn.edu
(Employer Relations).
Hope to see YOU at the Career Fair – Wednesday 10/17 4 pm – 6 pm and
let us know if you plan to attend!
In Partnership,
Tara and Chrys
Tara Malone – Assistant Director Career Services
Chrys Tsilibes – Assistant Director of Internship Opportunities
